These terms apply to this website and to every order placed with Calaris Library. Browsing the site or completing checkout means you accept them.
The seller
Calaris Library is a sole proprietorship based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, selling shelving, bookcases, cabinets and other storage furniture online only. There is no showroom, no franchise and no dealer network. Our postal address is F-529, Road Number 6, Vishwakarma Industrial Area, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302013, India and we work Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Using the site and your account
Browse and order for your own use. You may not copy our photography or descriptions, scrape the catalogue, or place automated or fraudulent orders. If you register, you are responsible for orders placed through your account.
Dimensions, load ratings and materials
Every listing carries external dimensions, internal shelf clearance and the tested load per shelf, all measured in-house. Please check them against the wall, alcove or cupboard the unit is meant for, and against what you intend to store — books are far heavier per metre than folded clothes. Grain, tone and finish vary between batches and between a photograph and daylight. A listing is an invitation to order, not a binding offer.
Prices, currency and payment
Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include any tax that applies. We accept UPI as a prepaid method and Cash on Delivery. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking or PayPal, so no card details are entered anywhere on this site.
We trade below the GST registration threshold that applies to a small proprietor. No GST is charged on your order and no GSTIN is printed on the invoice.
Orders, confirmation and our right to decline
An order is accepted when we send a confirmation email, not when the checkout page submits. We may decline or cancel an order and refund it in full where stock has run out, where a price or specification was published in error, where the freight network does not reach your PIN code, or where an order fails our fraud checks.
Delivery, returns and cancellation
Crating times, freight estimates, charges and delivery conduct are set out in our Shipping Policy; return windows and refund timings in our Refund and Returns Policy; order cancellation in our Cancellation Policy. Those pages form part of these terms.
Intellectual property
The store name Calaris Library, its logo, this site’s design and all product photography and copy belong to this business and may not be reproduced without written permission. Any third-party name used in a description remains the property of its owner and is used only to describe fit or compatibility.
Safe use, disclaimer and limitation of liability
This site and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calaris Library shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or any product bought through it, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damage. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Tall storage must be assembled as instructed, stood on a level floor and — where a wall strap or bracket is supplied — fixed to the wall before it is loaded. We are not liable for damage or injury caused by unfixed tall units, by exceeding the stated load per shelf, or by loading a unit unevenly from the top down.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000), the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.

This page may be updated as the store changes. The version published when you order governs that order.
